WELFARE
The Unification Party of The United States of America understands that a stable effective welfare system is needed
throughout the nation. We also understand that an effective welfare system is needed with common approach tactics that
make sense. Instead of, "Giving a fish, we would like to teach people 'how' to fish." Our 'Recovery Centers' is just one way
we will restructure ourselves throughout the nation. These centers will have concentrated health care and funding options
that will not just give, but also rehabilitate. We will allow those disabled to acquire disability immediately after being seen
by certified doctors, specialists, and psychologists. No one should have to wait and suffer for three years to acquire
disability after a life of paying into the system. We will also not put a cap on their income to keep them at the poverty level.
We will also encourage them to go to school and even possibly start an at home business to increase their contributions to
society. Food stamps which are a dire necessity for families who cannot afford food, will be encouraged to work at those
locations where they can acquire food, to bring them above the poverty level. Poverty really is a national security risk and
we as a nation must look at it from that standpoint and treat it from that standpoint.
